Huxen is of Germanic origin, derived from the Old Norse elements "hugi" meaning heart, mind or spirit and "mann" which means man or person. It may have also been influenced by the Germanic name Hugbert. The name was brought to England after the Norman Conquest in 1066 and has since been used occasionally throughout history. In some cases, Huxen may be considered a variant spelling of the name Hugo or Hughes. It is not among the most common names today but continues to be used as a unique choice for boys.
"Huxen is an uncommon name, with only six births recorded in 2017 and seven each in the subsequent years of 2019, 2020, and 2023. In total, there have been twenty-seven Huxens born since 2017."
