Lono, of Hawaiian origin, translates to 'peaceful'. It was traditionally used as one of the many names for the Hawaiian god of agriculture and fertility. In the Polynesian pantheon, Lono is also associated with healing, rain, music, and peace.
"The name Lono was consistently popular over time with five births each in 2018 and 2019, but there was a gap in recorded births between 2019 and 2022, when another five babies were named Lono, making a total of fifteen."
