Ameriie is an American singer-songwriter born November 1, 1980, in Washington D.C., United States. Born as Camille W. Coe but later choosing to use her middle name Ameriie, she began her musical journey at a young age, taking piano lessons and participating in choir groups while attending school.
Ameriie gained prominence after being discovered by Rich Harrison, who would go on to produce her debut album "All I Have" released in 2004. The album featured the hit single "Why Don't We Fall in Love," which peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned Ameriie a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
